Overview
Taobao(Alibaba group most famous business) is the very first movers to grow the influencer and UGC as an e-commerce platform. The data of user return rate and conversions shown that the user generated content business model works very well in Chinese Ecommerce platform.
As the Alibaba cross-border business we started UGC much later and easy pace. Itao and Fanzon are the two UGC project in AliExpress. AE UGC Editor is the tool for this two project, to generateing the different type of content.
My approach
PD wanted to have a simple template-based content generator. I proposed this WYSIWYG editor idea and design. shown the PD and developer this idea not only giving the creator the possibility to create the style of content, but also having the compatibility and scalability for future business.
Design thinking
_Players, motivations & Possibilities
Listing the brands, sellers, influencers, and customers as the player in this project, why they want to create the content in the platform, and why they want to check and consume it. How do we emphasize their benefit？
In the first version, we consider the player’s basic needs (Because of the project timeline)—structuring based on the e-commerce’s contents and aesthetic skill to fulfilled the requirements.
